Scott J. Kantar
Mr. Kantar has 23 years of plant and facilities engineering and design experience. His experience has been in the plastic injection molding industry. as the Plant Engineer for Jada Precision Plastics then Val-Tech Holdings.
Scott has extensive experience in facility and equipment projects, installation, maintenance and removal. His responsibilities included the HVAC systems, manufacturing and support equipment, grounds, fleet, safety, health security, fire protection, utility management, code compliance, training and management of the maintenance and custodial departments.
Project Experience:
- New plastics facility. Involved in all aspects of the project from design to start-up. Including the design, layout and installation of the tower water, chiller water, compressed air, equipment power and material handling systems.
- Class 100,000 clean room design, installation and start-up including equipment, procedures compliance and training.
- Clean room bio-burden testing lab design, construction and start-up in compliance with ISO quality standards.
Since Scott joined Q-Tech in March 2009 as a Mechanical Engineer his responsibilities include HVAC and plumbing system design. He has been involved in industrial design work for steam, water, sewer and compressed air systems, several commercial hvac and plumbing projects including: drug store, health care, restaurant, city and suburban fire department facilities.
